BF&M No Limits Sailing Programme in partnership with Endeavour

The BF&M No Limits Sailing Programme in partnership with Endeavour provides STEAM through Sailing experiential learning opportunities as a form of recreational therapy for students who are on the autism spectrum or who have other developmental challenges

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex neurobehavioural condition that includes impairments in social interaction and developmental language and communication skills.

Students engage in hands-on activities to explore wind and weather patterns, buoyancy, and sailing fundamentals in a safe and fun learning environment.

Offered to all students ages 5 years and older who are on the autism spectrum or have developmental delays and are enrolled in the below public schools in Bermuda:

Prospect Primary
West Pembroke Primary
Paget Primary
Dellwood Middle School
The Berkeley Institute

Takes place in September and in April during Autism Awareness month.

We’re beyond excited that the programme is continuing for our students. It’s fantastic that Endeavour provides everyone with the same opportunities to learn and that students are met at their own pace and encouraged to develop their skills in a safe learning environment.”
– Zola French, ASD Teacher at West Pembroke Primary
