Endeavour STEAM Education through Sailing Programme

Enables every student ages 11-12 in their first year of middle school to build confidence and develop skills during a 5-day experiential learning programme based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, or STEAM concepts applicable through sailing. Learning modules including wind measurement and wind power, sailing geometry, mechanical advantage, buoyancy, and sailing fundamentals. Students also learn about Bermuda’s rich maritime heritage, increase their awareness about the importance of nutrition and enhance their appreciation for Bermuda’s natural and marine environments.

Endeavour Graduate Programme

Offers a retention pathway for students to continue to develop their skills during school breaks, weekends and the summer. Students are observed during their participation in the Endeavour STEAM Education through Sailing Programme and evaluated based on their willingness to learn, respect for others, teamwork, listening skills, and overall effort. Students who demonstrate excellence in these areas and have an interest to continue sailing are invited to return for additional training.

Endeavour No Limits Sailing Programme

Provides experiential learning opportunities as a form of recreational therapy for all students ages 5 and older who are on the autism spectrum and/or with developmental challenges that are enrolled at public schools. Students engage in hands-on learning activities featuring Endeavour’s STEAM through Sailing curriculum.

    Assistant Instructor Programme

The Endeavour Assistant Instructor Programme offers an opportunity to students ages 15-16 years who have completed the Endeavour Graduate Programme and interested to become sailing instructors to take part in a one-week leadership development programme that focuses on advanced sailing and coaching skills. After successfully completing the programme and achieving their Assistant Instructor certificate they are invited to volunteer to assist with the Endeavour Graduate Programme as they gain more experience and earn community service credit.

    Endeavour Maritime Career Springboard Programme
